Hello, thought that perhaps my new book , Perception and Deception- A Mind Opening Journey Across Cultures ,might be of interest to you and your network. You can get a feel for it and my approach by visiting http://www.PerceptionAndDeception.com and or by visitng my youtube channel. I Look forward to reading your newsletter. Joe Lurie
Hello Joe, thank you so much. I actually have seen your book pop up a few times through my social media streams and have just ordered my copy. Perhaps I could entice you to be a guest on an upcoming podcast episode? I am very grateful to hear from you.
Hi Brett
I’ve just listened to you on the Radio for Aussies. I totally agree with the deductive and inductive concepts of how Australians and Americans assess others. Are these your concepts? I just wish we could think of a different term to improve the meaning of ‘inductive’ as it doesn’t quite capture the process Americans go through of adding to their score as they total up the status of the college, the degree/s, the profession, etc (and that’s on the basis of assumed perfect straight white teeth for both sexes, for women with their perfect manis and pedis with polish, and for men, professionally laundered shirts with no crease down the arm).
I’ve shared the interview on FB and had many likes from those who’ve agreed with your assessment.
I’d just like to improve that term ‘inductive’.
Thanks! Fran
Aussie (a bloody trailing spouse 🌸, none of your supporting spouse nonsense thanks) in Indianapolis
