It's not about changing yourself

Most people will admit that there are certain things about ourselves that we would love to change. Perhaps we see it in ourselves, or in fact through the eyes of others and the way our actions and words affect them. However what we would also probably admit is that the reality of such changes is hard.

The things we want to change my be preventing us from attracting new opportunities. The way we perceive other cultures, whether in the immediate vicinity or from a distance is a great example. If we allow ourselves to give into the stereotypes portrayed by the misinformation of others, either personally or through the media, how are we to know the actual facts? In the case I believe the best way is not to get hung up on the “I have to change” route, but rather take it upon yourself to have an inquiring mind. Seek out a balanced set of opinions and see where you might be able to learn. If you Aaron Hill said “Don’t call the world dirty because you forgot to clean your glasses”
